Kitchen Remodel The client wanted to double the size of the kitchen and create a central area in the home that was inviting, light and bright. They needed a multi-functioning kitchen and dining area so everyone in the family could enjoy cooking, eating, hobbies and school work.
To accomplish this, we tore out a non-functioning covered patio, poured a foundation, added an exterior wall, and implemented the use of large windows to bring in natural light and to provide a wonderful view of the backyard.
By removing the existing exterior wall, we opened up the space and gave them the ability to have a more functional kitchen. The use of natural light with the skylights and large picture windows gives the room the warm feel the homeowner desired. We combined cherry cabinets with light tile flooring and natural toned granite counters.
